Free official SA forms & resources

Some forms should come straight from the source. Here are the official, free government and regulator forms we point our own customers to — each with a plain-English note on when to use it.

Information Regulator (POPIA & PAIA)

The official regulator for privacy and access to information. These are the prescribed forms — free to download and use.

Department of Employment & Labour (BCEA)

The Basic Conditions of Employment Act sets the minimums for every SA job — hours, leave, pay slips and the written particulars every employee must receive.

SARS (tax invoices)

If you're registered for VAT — or your client is — your invoice must contain specific details to be a valid tax invoice.

Rental Housing Act (landlords & tenants)

The law that governs deposits, inspections and refunds for residential rentals in South Africa.

SAFLII (free consolidated Acts)

Free, up-to-date versions of every South African Act — the same texts attorneys cite.

  • All consolidated SA Acts

Look up the current version of any Act we reference — BCEA, CPA, ECT Act, Copyright Act and more.

Need the contract, not just the form?

Official forms cover requests and notices. For the agreements between you and your clients, employees or tenants, build yours free online and only pay when you download.
