Yes. Section 33 of the BCEA requires employers to give a written statement with each payment, showing pay, hours, deductions and the net amount.
1% of the employee's remuneration is deducted and the employer adds another 1%, up to the UIF earnings ceiling. It applies once someone works more than 24 hours a month. Check uif.gov.za for the current ceiling.
At least 1.5 times the normal wage under the BCEA, unless agreed time off is given instead. Overtime is limited to 10 hours a week.
